Arrival in India

I have arrived in Delhi and settled in. I'm staying in a nice hotel with air conditioning. It's in a suburb near the Ananda Ashram.

My friends Dhananjaya (aka Dharma) and Marlene collected me from the airport and have taken really good care of me. We went to a local mall, on a bicycle rickshaw, to have some South Indian food for dinner. Imagine three white folk on the back of this tricycle with a guy huffing away for twenty minutes. The locals thought it was funny that Dharma (who is white) was sitting facing backwards, like an Indian.

There are lots of stray cows and dogs in the road and lots of dirt. This experience is bringing up a lot of stuff for me, I feel a little disturbed inside.
