Dakini

My forehead at your lotus feet,
and yours placed close to mine:
the circle was then made complete,
in symmetry divine.

And this a dissonance begot
between inside and out:
my little child was worshipped not,
though very much devout.

While cuddling my weary head
and kissing on my face,
"You're adorable!" you said
and put me in my place.

And now I carry on this sod
the truth to set me free:
as much as I do love my God,
that much does She love me.
