Guardian

When your mind turns to me,
I rush to you at the speed of thought.
I enclose you in effulgence.
In your third and fourth hands
I place a discus and a mace.
On your head I rest a crown.
I fill you with contentment,
and shower wealth upon you.
You slice open the envelope;
your eyes scan the bill;
you write the check.
