Rhododendron

I surrender,
sobbing,
into your beautiful, fragrant shade,
where my father told me
dragons sleep.
Your white blossom
overwhelms my aching chest,
drenched with tears.
I take you,
amongst the overgrown, gurgling brooks
and willowed ponds.
I am home,
finally.

"Rhododendron is a beautiful poem; makes me feel quite teary!" — Kelly

"Once again my friend, very deep beautiful stuff!" — Basi
